satsang in London july 2009. Here Mooji addresses the concern many share about the growing negativity and distructive conditioning human beings create and live in. He points to the source of all appearances - consciousness, and explains how mankind must become 'kind man' again. (As said by Papaji) He must realize or recognise himself as awareness - the source of all manifestation.

  • So consciousness is the doing of all the bad deeds in the world, and God is consciousness. That doesn't fill me with confidence in the global fascist state we're fast heading towards. If human beings were doing it there'd be some hope, but if God/consciousness is the doer of it all, we're screwed.

  • It is not quite like this...it is more that when the human being thinks he has full autonomy, he often acts from selfishness and must admit his inability to bring harmony to field of his endevours. However, when he discovers his true nature as pure universal consciousness and not merely a psychological being, peace, harmony and true compassion comes more into play.

  • It is the mistaken belief that he is, essentially, his body/mind/personality that results in greed, desire, agression and the compulsion to manipulate or dominate others in order to fulfill his selfish cravings that is the evil. Mankind must discover his true nature as pure being. Then enlighten action will flow from this new insight and self-discovery.

  • the world runs itself. There is neither creator, nor created. It just IS as it IS! Thought is an abstraction. Wtf is thought anyway? Energy? Knowledge? either way we turn it, thought remains abstract. I am thinking is a thought, and consciousness/God is another thought. Something being aware of the mind/thought - is also a thought. There is noone 'out there' or 'in here' that can define any of the abstractions, incl. consciousness! There is no guru and there is no student, those are illusions.

  • @Introfinity oh, but scary thought: though they may have abandoned their truth as consciousness, those in power may have at some point been very 'pure' or 'conscious' individuals who became so twisted by desire for power that they completely became the ego. Which is basically like turning into a computer program. AKA, selling one's soul. Eeegads, who knows if it's all really like that...it certainly is with some beings.

  • @Introfinity reptilians. lol, idk actually. but seriously, what you are saying resonates with me. I believe it is the source of a sickness in western culture, especially in america, the idea that being conscious and aware is somehow harmful to one's social/power structure ambitions. I hope and pray that in these coming years that sickness can be healed, and we can enter into an age where humanity as a whole is much more conscious of itself. Enough of this low-level game playing!

  • Excellent explanation.

  • How can I stop chronic pain in my leg after a car accident without medication?

  • Yes, once you are conscious, you realize the being you are and the oneness of this being with all creation. You realize that your neighbor you hated because he lied about you probably did it because he was miserable within himself so he had to project that on you and try to make you miserable too. I realized the potential of consciousness when I saw how even people's looks on me change when I bloomed... and when obstacles arise, I keep the Ego out of the equation to let flow Love and Peace.

  • @scallywicca But what is God and what is consciousness??? You and I are part of it, not "them" if we decide to do it. I've had a life that spread from violent destructive people, though I was a loving and faithfull (in God, Goodnes) all my life. It is the day I became conscious that I really learned to love and treat myself and others right. I hurt people I loved because I was unconscious of the wholeness of the reality of this world. This is simple and complex at the same time

  • @scallywicca Computer games have shown us how it's possible to create artificial, yet seemingly intelligent resitance to Consciousness - the 'evil enemy' if you will. And today we understand that sophisticated AI is not only possible, but inevitable... or perhaps it actually happened before, in the distant past? What I'm saying is that those who run the world may be intelligent, but not necessarily 'consious' human beings.
