this is true but a vibrating floor and strobes only go so far, for me the atmosphere and layout of the end cudnt be beaten by any club playing drum and bass ever, places like fabric or hidden come close but the end was a proper sick venue

...Iv been listening to, mixing, and producing D&B since just before it passed over from jungle so i consider myself qualified to talk. and to reinforce my original point...andy is far from commercial.

@thelaw1984 i agree, but again my original response was to somebody that claimed andy c stood for andy commercial, which he is far from. RAM as a label is more commercial than Headz, yes... but Andy as a DJ, producer and scene leader is not commercial. I would say he knows far more about the scene than anyone out there, and some of the talent he has signed in recent years prooves that (Wilkinson, Delta Heavy, etc....

@timllmixit Why does it matter if you are on Eastenders or any other show if your music and creativity doesn't suffer? Andy C is still the best DJ but if you think Ram is still a great label you obviously wasn't listening to D&B 10 years ago. Goldie has NEVER compromised his music and ideals. Andy C commissioned tunes like Is It Worth It. Come on, it sounds like a Backstreet Boys Song.

@timllmixit Look at the music Andy C puts out via Ram, and then what Goldie does with Headz. Then tell me who is trying the commercial route. Ram as a label lost its identity some time ago.
