Since I first heard you sing this, many renditions of this song have been posted. Yet none of them takes me home like the way you sing it. You have soul that is beautiful to hear and meaningful to experience.

Brig. Gen. John H. Morgan and his boys sang this song on there raid though Indiana and Ohio. As a boy, I lived in SE Ky. loved it there.

I have lived in Kentucky for 18 years (from ages 7-25) and just accepted a job in Oklahoma. I'm excited about a new begining, but it breaks my heart to leave a place that I have grown to love. I have been looking for a version of this song that really captured the emotions that I am feeling and this one was perfect. Thank you so much for such a beautiful version of a great song. I am going to have to get this on a CD and play it as I am driving out of Kentucky.
