  • Hi @MrVinNocent,

It’s a shame to see the problems you’re having with your WiFi.

One thing you could try is to perform a backup and restore via your Desktop Manager.

Should this not resolve the problem with your WiFi then you may need to send this away to be repaired if it's within warranty.

    Thanks,

    Jenny

  • Hi, im having a problem with my wifi. When my BB 8520 was reformated, my wifi doesn't turn on. Im not able to make it function coz i cant enable my wifi on. what should i do?? help pls. thanks a lot

  • Hi @TheChaimae12345,

The Pre-Shared Key is usually shown on the back of your wireless router.

    Thanks,

  • but what is the key, where can you find them??

  • Hi @MrLilReechy,

It sounds like the WiFi is working on the handset but not recognising that the router is in range and able to connect. I would suggest resetting the router and the handset and trying again.

If that doesn't fix the issue, let me know and I will help further.

    Thanks,

  • Hi @DUBSTEP201111,

Oh dear. Is the router in range and switched on? Have you made sure that you switch on WiFi before searching?

  • Hey i tried this but it 'unable to scan for network'

    please reply :)

  • @SP1D3RMAN75

If you haven't been provided one and there isn't anything on the router itself then you would have either set a password up with your provider when you activated your WiFi or it isn't password protected and will show as an unprotected connection.

    Thanks,

    Phil
