  • The war was a draw .The USA loss most land battle but won most of the naval battle.

  • The British/Canadian's clearly won the war. The whole reason for the war is for the Americans to take British land and to get back at them for the american revolution. And so because America didnt capture Canada we won the war.

  • wait, did he say that the USA lost all the battles and won the war? umm how does that happen?

  • The USA won.

  • Nice, both guys fall down for Lundy's Lane. US won the war in the Northwest but it took three consecutive armies to do it.

  • The US kept losing battles but won the war? I think this guy meant to say "the US kept losing battles and accepted a generous peace agreement".

Britain didn't want to fight it because they were war weary from almost 50 years constant battle with the French, the Canadian's only wanted to defend their homeland from an agressive invader, Tecumseh wanted an independent Indian Confederation and the US wanted some respect. Only Tecumseh didn't get what he wanted.

  • The USA lost.

  • neither america or UK won that war, it was a draw but yes usa lost most of the battles on land

  • Shame on you Rick Green.

  • What? Are you kidding me? Everyone knows America lost the war of 1812.
