Unedited video straight from the camera. New rebuild, fixed a ton of mistakes by the PO. Here we rolled it out of the garage for the first firing up. We couldnt believe after all the changes and things we found, that it not only fired up on the 4th kick, but it ran quite well. The bike was literally down to the frame and cases a few weeks ago. We need a new idle screw thats a bit longer. Running 32:1

Next step is getting the bike ready to mount the 17's for supermoto.

  • thats an awesome feeling of accomplishment (:

  • @NicoN151 Especially if you knew what was wrong with this bike. This sucker was brought back from the junkyard. LITERALLY. Everything was off, top end blown, bad gaskets, missing gaskets, stripped drainplug that was simply stuck up and siliconed, cracked rubber hoses, screws instead of bolts, nonfunctioning front brake, cracked lines, clutch cable that had rust inside of it. case cover with a hole in it... bad bad bad. Learned a lot though, fun times with dad.

  • great work!

  • @GoProStuffHero thank you!

  • beautiful

  • @querly glad you like it. I'll be bringing the bike, and my gopro hero2 out to the dunes on Saturday. Stay tuned, I'll be loading my first ride video. I have a bunch of mounts too. Hope to move it around a bit.

  • I wish my 86 KX 500 would run like that.

i kick it and kick it and all it does is pop and backfire then nothing.

    please help.

im in north kansas it came from north of phoenix, good cond but the altitude shouldnt have anything to do with it.

    stock bike.

  • @revvhard haha wow. must of been a fun project.

  • @SethRedFox Hey thanks Seth. Sorry for the unedited "raw videos" I take photos, I'm no video guy. I prefer no music anyway. The engine is music.

  • This sound...

    I love it :)

    Gratz man !!!

  • @MixingGasMoonen It is not an AF. It is a good ol' original framed 1990 with 2001 KX125 fenders, front and rear.
