    LoL

  • quote from the movie As Good As It Gets.

"how do you write woman so well?

I think of a man---and I take away reason and accountability." sounds like all theist's

That is a great example. It's the question that drives us, and the knowledge that makes all of our lives easier. I find it funny many theists reject science or just pick and choose which part of modern science they will accept. When we wouldn't even be having this conversation with each other without the tools and technology that allows us to connect from any where in the world. What has religious theology ever brought us that has improved our lives.

  • I watched this live. The caller doesn't understand what "unfalsifiable" means. Later in the call, he says you could still search for answers contradictory to his unfalsifiable god...which can only mean he doesn't REALLY believe it is unfalsifiable.

Also, it being "unfalsifiable" cannot be its foundation, as the caller claims, as there are countless unfalsifiable claims equal to the one he picks. So the foundation of the one HE picks cannot be its unfalsifiability, but just his preference.

Thanks I didn't mean to step on your post. It was funny as hell. Later.

  • @XchristianHeathen I would say that I would add all the above when it comes to theist's. How do I understand Theist's so well?? I try to not think at all, and then I take away all reason, accountability, common seance and logic. yeah that sounds about right.

  • @rentiap

Someone asked me once: How do you understand Theists so well?

I said, " I try not to think at all, and then I remove common sense and logic."

    Makes it pretty easy.

  • It's just like you know that unhealthy food makes you fat and you still eat it, Matt.
