How to remove a stock wheel on a modern motorcycle at home. First thing you will need is front & rear bike stands & all the necessary tools for removal. Allen ratchet drives for body & fork bolts, (4mm for BP, 6mm for FB, 12mm for CB & 27mm for axle nut screw & a couple of bungee cords to hold up the BC forn hanging on the brake hoses.) A little work, will save you some cash at the shop. Although you'll still have to drive the rim to the shop, you'll get the satisfaction of doing it your self & seeing what it's all about in the proses. + or - a stripped, Allen bolt head screw,Broken parts happen.

whether at home or at the shop. Just don't forget to purchase any broken parts, while at the shop..............
