1st off, as a black person is it too much to ask not to compare us and our HUMAN rights to animals? Its deeply offensive and shows alot of ignorance, if u said that in front of me things would get messy real quick, so dont say that to black ppl on the street is my advice.
2nd ur point about us seeing the evil because we oppose factory farming is hardly relavent, thats like saying ban the internet cus some sites are forbidden.. Theres evil in the corners of every market, incl the vege racket.
im a vegetarian and i believe that to move forward in our world we need to understand that pain is pain and death is death no matter who or what it is to. I'm not christian but noah didn't save those animals so they could die. people don't realize the value of animals because to us they are like the modern day slave. Not in that they work but in that they don't matter to our society now as much as they will in the future when we have another "great enlightenment".However you made good points
I didn't watch the whole video, I stopped at your point 2. I don't eat animals solely for pleasure, I eat them because I believe it is more healthy to do so.
Although, I appreciate that you didnt go to the lengths of dressing up like a cow and reading some little faggy emo poem like Onision does in all his stupid videos.
My family hunts, we eat the deer we kill. The meat from the kill over an open fire is one of the most amazing things youll ever taste in your life, excellent soyrce of protein and other vitamins as well. and knowing that you yourself prepared this meal, no hormones etc. needed makes it all the better.
I see nothing wrong with killing and eating animals. They are a very good source of protein and essential vitamins and if someone enjoys that as part of their diet, let it be.
I agree, torturing animals and mass slaughter and preservatives and hormones etc. all for the sake of making a few quick bucks with places like mcdonalds and burger king is stupid and should be stood up against.
@90Rush if what you say is true than that makes Peta incompetent and stupid, lol.
Enough of what I have seen is true though... it's convinced me that some practices aren't something I can agree with. Even if Peta's corrupt man their are many different sources people can find out about stuff. I make up my mind from that and decide - these things I like, these things I don't like :)
I'm not like an activist either, people need to know whats right for them!
@lanceawatt continued. I don't have official proof that they are on monsanto's payroll, but judging from what they said for 20 years, it's fair to say that they are at least corrupt.
@lanceawatt Take CSPI for example. They go out of the way to prove that saturated fat is harmful; they have an article about palm oil field destroying endangered species' habitat, which is totally true (they also discussed its harmful effect on humans, which is not true). However, their suggestion in the article: substitute with corn/soy oil is simply not an option. These kinds of oil are indeed detrimental to human health, not to mention corn/soy fields' harmful effect on the environment.

Your mention at 5:33 of one killing animals for "a better-tasting food" is all well and good -- if one agrees with this.
Personally speaking, one's pleasure in eating vegetarian foods is comparable to one's enjoyment of eating animal flesh.
