Sydney's light rail system is one line. It really only exists as a favour to the Packer family, which owns casino which is on the light rail line. But unless you want to go from Central Station to the Casino it is pretty much useless.
Sydney's existing transport infrastructure is an enduring and outrageous disgrace. Sydney needs hundreds of kilometres of light rail lines, fanning out in all directions from the CBD. But we go without and, as a result, the city is on its knees.

so what's the difference between the Sydney's light rail trains and Melbourne's trams? Or there isn't any actually?
