Gradius 2 MSX level 6

It's been a long time since I posted my last video so I will add a little one,
this is gradius/nemesis 2 ,level 6, played by me.
It's getting a little harder, you need to get rid of those turret quickly because of their firing rate and some area being narrow.
finishing the level will not be hard with maximum level weapon but watch out for those multiplicating cells from behind, be sure to position your option to kill them, or take the back beam power up you have surely unlocked if you have gone through each battleship

at this stage of the game I think you can have unlocked everything (?) in the weapon select meter, you should have the following : up laser, down laser, napalm missile, reflex ring, extend laser, back beam, and fire blaster.

there is a special stage hidden in this level, at 2 min 10, when you have the rotary drill special power up, you can dig through the wall and when you're at the bottom you're warped to the special stage, i'll try to make a video of it,

the boss of this level is extremly easy when you have the good technic, if you don't completely destroy the wall he will not be able to fire at you just destroy the 2 side and you're good to go to the next level.

it's only that I don't really have much time to play without being annoyed by people going in and out of the room X_x, everytime there is someone to distract me leading me to death.

Plus I have been playing some other games lately, I will go back to gradius 2 soon ^^

I will tell you one thing, I nearly 1cc'ed the game wednesday ;), I was just about to kill that boss, the core was wompletely open, but I wanted to go too fast and died miserably on his laser :(,

so I will soon put up a video of level 7 plus the ending on youtube :)

I just need to take some time to play it... :]

I keep being amazed by the graphics of this level. The amount of colours.... and the animation int he background..even little polyps on the floor and ceiling.. and so cleverly spaced out... that there is no colourbleeding whatsoever. IT doesn't look like 16 colours with one transparant at all.... but like 256 :)

What a quality tune! MSX had the best 8bit music\sound around, hands down. It shat all over the c64.

At 2:13 there's a secret level hidden in the blue/green bubbles near the bottom of the screen. The Rotary Drill allows you to go through those things without getting hurt and you can get to it that way.
