@kabrilew The Great Bear Trio put on a dance weekend called Great Bear Groove in Oswego NY which is north and a little west of Syracuse, on Lake Ontario.
The Location was a wonderful old barn with a great floor.

If you've never Contra Danced before, and think it looks cool, why don't you find a local dance and try it!
contradancelinks [dot] com is great for finding contra dancing near you! Or you can try googling "[your area] contra dance". If you're lucky, you might even see these guys in person!
