I don't wanna sound like an idiot r something, I love them, I freaking LOVE their music, but I have to say that David Gilmour had a very rare, amazing kind of beauty, and Richard Wright had the most beautiful eyes I've seen.

@soberek Guitar Player Magazine interviewed Dave Gilmour in the '70s and he mentioned that they put lots of graphite in the notches of the nut so the strings would not catch as much--and making sure the screws are tight that fasten the bridge to the body.

Other then that, I'm sure it's something that the guitar tecs to the stars have down as an art and I'm sure they get compensated well too for their work--as well access to better hardware more precisely honed due to technological innovation.

Someone please explain to me why THE FUCK only bloody rich and famous assholes' stratocasters stay in tune after wanking the whammy??? I held in my paws a number of strats well above 1000$ each, vintage and new. Same shit. Just touch the bar and it's over. Back to tuning all over again. But Clapton, Gilmour, Marvin, Beck, or any multi-million sales rich fucks never seem to have any problem with staying in tune. Why??? What's the big secret???
