  • A beautiful, poignant story. The girl was amazing, esp. 2:06 - 2:20. Nothing wrong with the music--I thought it fit perfectly, quickening the pace in places and heightening the emotion of the stuffed animal scene (excellent choice to leave out all other sound there btw). I liked the artistic quality of the filming. The audio wasn't very good, I agree. A couple spots lacked clarity, not necessarily the writer's fault. Overall I admire the subtlety--Hollywood needs that. Great job!

  • Performances were great the filming with all the resources a pricey school and pros like that was mediocre. OK black and white but not much depth to the grayscale or if you wanted washed out need more than blur and verite. Score was 7 or 12 string? in tuning? Out of tune for effect did not work. If you want to hear someone do it better listen to Bill Frisell's playing with limits of in and out of tune or 6 and 12 string of Ralph Towner Matchbook CD . 8 hours is standard for small schools.

  • the pills looked like tic tacs

  • Lots of potential and lots of room for improvement.

  • wait, somebody please explain to me what happened. I understand she was at the doctors and she took a nap then got stuffed animals, but i thought she was going to die or something.

  • I cried.

  • @theBCdream You're right, you're totally right. I take what I said back. :) when I think about it, they could've done a way better job as you said.

  • @thevideotutorialman - ... Also, It could have been so much better on such a large scale. Black and white? C'mon, should have used color correction, proper lighting and got the actor to speak up a little. The script could have been more detailed and a recognizable three act structure would have been generous. Entertainment is a business. If they want our money, they better give us what it's worth. They better be prepared to deliver. Just saying.

  • @thevideotutorialman - It's just tough love:) I've compared the video quality to that of Hollywood movie scene. I know those VFS students pay a hell of a lot of money to go to that school so they deserve youtube, good videos or not. If no one gives them the hammer, then they will never do better. I have been watching VFS reels for three years now and I can say, they all use the same equipment. There is absolutely no excuse for a short not be just as good as any great movie.

  • @theBCdream hey don't be too hard on these guys, if they got to the vfs official channel, it's because the teachers found it good. The audio can always be youtube lag, of course
