My experience:

dated an older woman. she was always tired. worked too much to support herself. talked endlessly about her kid and did nothing interesting in her life.

In terms of disappointments. she experienced a lot of disappointment but she wasn't open. Why if you get hurt 30 years by guys you're going to be more open to them? that makes no sense. it gives them reason to be more cautious or even completely closed off so they don't get hurt again.

i know plenty of younger guys who would benefit from an older women, my brother is always complaining about the lack of maturity from most girls of his generation, he seems to get no stimulation from giggly girls, thats not to say he doesn't appreciate his age group, where there is mutual respect is most important, some older women have a lot of wisdom and inspire the younger man who hopefully comes away with a deeper level of understanding quality, if thats what they are seeking.

@whowantstogetnaked First of all I don't act any different...lol...being around my freinds I grew up and got in trouble with in highschool makes me feel young...well I hate to say that because I don't fee old...but dating a guy that is younger than me would make me feel...mmm....out of place, lost, disoriented..and old...I dated someone 5 years younger and 7..met both of them at the same time..but that is not even a big deal..its like dating the little annoying kid in the back of the bus

@cymbeli I disagree with you. The young people and just the way they are, remind you of a time that you felt the same and acted like they did - that reminds you of the youthfulness in you. This has nothing to do with you and how old you are in comparison with someone older. This is something quiet different. And I know why you'd want a baby with a man your age - I agree completely. It's a no brainer.

@whowantstogetnaked Getting knocked up obviously isn't an issue by a younger man but the idea of them feeling more youthful? That is an illusion..if anything it makes her look old an unbalanced...I feel younger around older men because they emphasize their seniority around me...I would feel old around an old man who is treating me as if we are the same age..that would really more make me feel dead. Ok why I would want a baby with a man my age? I want a stable and grounded home for my baby.

There's many reasons why an older woman would want to date a younger man, among the many reasons why: 1) keeps her feeling youthful, and 2) a higher sexual stamina. The fact that you're 41 years old and you want another baby means, most likely, that you should date someone your age- but not by rule. Look at Ashton and Demi together now for many many years. If they can live together for this long, and be happy, the possibility of having a baby can't be far

@whowantstogetnaked And it is your experience not sure how old she was but I'm 41 and have only one child and no baggage...failed relationships yes...but today is always a new day and at the same time I always date men my age or older maybe its not that she's older but the reason why she feels a younger man is going to be ideal for her. Women who marry younger die younger. I was only married a few years in my early 20s. I would love another baby so for me age difference is not so ideal.
