"Isadore" is my favorite by far. The rest of the album is great too, except for Switchblade. That song annoys me.

I think your opinion is how many people felt regarding this latest album. However, I will say that with every Incubus album they've changed, so when people are so caught off guard I kind of wonder why. Sure, this is a bigger leap to something different than their last album, but in the end, there's nothing that new here, they're playing in a similar formula that they always have, it's just what and how they're playing it...if that makes any sense. Thanks for the review.

I've always thought SCIENCE was the best as well. So heavy. Love it. It's right up there with Light Grenades for me personally. I'm not sure how I feel about Isadore, but I'm starting to really appreciate the album as a whole.

inkyoubus... first time I heard it I didn't think much, then I listened to it again a little while ago and loved it. For me it's really only the first half that I love. Couple verses of chill guitar and brandon boyd's bomb voice and a pretty awesome chorus... but after like 3 and half minutes I kind of get bored of it. But still a good song. Top 5 on album for me maybe? Thanks for the comment!!

personal favorite... would have to be a toss up between the first 2 tracks. "If Not Now, When?" is deep, but "Promises, Promises" is a little catchier... So it's a tough call. If I had to pick: "If Not Now, When?". It also helps that it's the first track... since that's the first song I heard I was kinda sold right off the bat. So ya. What's yours jpmc04?

I totally understand what you're saying. I think I even tried to say that: "every incubus album changes", and I agree. I was just saying how I felt about the new sound... and how I had a hard gettin into it that's all. Again, it is still incubus and all... just tough for me haha. Thanks for the comment!! :)
