I'm sorry but I believe Daniel Johnston is just as well known as Beach House. More so, in fact. Beach House is a great band, and the cover is great, so is the original. There should be no comparison.

This version is much better than Johnston's, it's a great song though.

I hear more emotion in BH's cover than Johnston's.. although Johnston from what I hear is extremely manic depressive. ha
