  • This makes me sad. The message seems to be "Are you an intelligent, driven young woman who wants to become highly educated in a STEM field? well, that isn't enough. you better be pretty too or no one will care." This sort of thing just undermines women ever being respected for the truly valid contributions they make.

  • Or...it says to the 3-4 million little cheerleaders in the U.S. that looks or stereotypes shouldn't define them. They're going to need a career (cheerleading will not pay the bills): why not make it a science or engineering career?

  • Haters gonna hate. Hot science chicks ftw.

  • How so?

  • What makes a person a whore? Are there certain things you have to do to make you or be considered a whore? And if so, what did these women do that made you think they are a "bunch of whores"? Retune your thinking.

  • So, where are the male cheerleaders? I'm all for hot ladies doing amazing things in science, but why are no men cheering?

  • Heh, this is pretty demoralising, all I see are a bunch of whores.

  • Hot science and amazing chicks, what a combination! :)

  • Science FTW! GO SCIENCE!!!

  • Feminists, ruining fun for everyone

  • ctuie cheerleaders

  • So, I'm pretty sure that's not the point. I think they're saying, "Yes, we're awesome cheerleaders... but guess what? We have these awesome careers too! Just cause you're hot and a cheerleader doesn't mean you're stupid."
