I wrote this song in the months that followed september 11 in honor of flight 93. The music video won first place at the Spindletop film festival 2004. The song features me on guitar and vocals and Jared Hinson on harp. I hope you like it.

  • After United 93 was hijacked on 9/11, passenger Todd Beamer tried to place a credit card call through a phone located on the back of a plane seat but was routed to a customer-service representative instead. Beamer told the operator that he and other passengers were planning to "jump on" the hijackers. Beamer's last audible words were "Are you guys ready? Let's roll."

Beamer's phrase "Let's roll" was widely cited and later became a battle cry for those fighting Al-Qaeda in Afghanistan.

  • 11 people must be bin Laden & al Qaeda admirers.

11 people are just plain sick!!

  • 9/11 building 7 did they really pull it

  • .

Incredible song and video ... God bless you ... and God bless our nation!

    .

  • @matthew2496 the quote go's "Courage is endurance for one moment more"

  • @13craj we created them

  • al quiedea, the taliban and terrorists are jealous of america, sorry guys but were allowed to see our womans faces, we have freedom, one nation under God, were not done

  • "courage is endurance for one more second"

  • Great song. Great video--except that it implies that Saddam Hussein had something--anything--to do with 9/11. This was precsely the distraction that make us take over a decade to catch the TRUE perpetrator of the attack, Osama Bin Laden. How many thousands of American lives were needlessly spend in Iraq? How many more Muslims did we radicalize by this folly?

  • @purpleblood93 not quite, al- qaeda still lives. we're not done yet.

  • @purpleblood93 Indeed justice has prevailed. The coward is dead. The seals who did the job said he was "frightened and confused when he came face to face with the American Navy Seals" he used his wife as a human sheild and she still tried to fight them. Al Qaeda has to be the most spineless cowardly terrorist organization in history. Their remaining leaders will be hunted down and killed for the state of the union is strong and America will make the difference. For the heros of 911 Lets Roll

  • As of May 2, 2011, justice has prevailed.

  • Great job! Love the ending!

  • AWESUME SONG....SO GLAD THAT BASTARDS DEAD NOW

  • What sort of sad person spends his time bashing others who are attempting to say something heartfelt and sincere? I'm not going to respond to this guy anymore.

    Good work watership.

  • @SkyWolf1378

I have no doubt it sounds "pretty good" to someone with no aesthetic discernment at all.

  • This song isn't even close to the quality of the Neil Young song.

  • @Pizuzuzimmer One more thing, about "let everyone express themselves." Look at the name of the website. Being able to express yourself however you want to is exactly what YOUtube is all about.

  • @fred1337able2 And the 7th was this Pizuzuzimmer guy
