Do you know why people have a problem with gays getting married? Not because they hate gays, but because marriage is originally a religious sacrament. So people like me who disagree with gay marriage don't like the federal government given the choice to decide on a religious issue.

Actually do your homework, Marriage was there before religon, religon just took it on board and made it into its own, Gay people are not asking to get married in Churches they just want the right, and hell yes they should get this, the benefits of being married are immense, so why the hell not? You'd think that society-by now- would be worrying about bigger issues...global warming, genocide, conserving depleting natural resources etc. but still when a celebrity or something turns out to be gay everyone makes a big deal about it. like who the fuck cares of he/she is gay? I think it is rediculous for us as HUMANS to judge what we think others should like. Im a straight man, and have 4 very very close gay best friends. For ONE, they cant help what they like, thats just what they like and how they are wired. If u want to bring the christian card out, well, we as christians are supposed to practice acceptance and toleration. point blank.
