An ABM medical devices specialist and a former Swansea University IT graduate joined forced to come up with a simple and effective way to help make safer an everyday procedure which takes place millions of times each year in the NHS.
The software they came up with helps nurses set IV infusion drips at the correct rate, and also allows them to check later that the drip rate has remained accurate. The application, which is now available on Apple i-Store, makes it simple for nurses to carry out the mathematical calculations at the start of each procedure, and includes built-in checks which reduces the risk of human error.
The software can be downloaded onto Apple i-Touch; Apple i-phone and Apple i-pad, taking away the need for any specialist medical equipment.
I love this... will have to bring into my practice

There are plenty available for free for Androids. Just one more reason why the Android is superior to the I Crap!
