Did it ever occur to you that communist china has a very large oil consumption as well? Why everybody chooses to knock the states is simply because of their power. Nobody can deny the military might of the United States, its simply incomparable. As for the arguments being made, there are alternatives to oil as a source of energy however these "alternative methods" are expensive and less cost effective. And as everybody knows its all about money. You live in a capitalist society, what the hell did you expect?
