EXTREME RISING TO GET HARDCORE IN A NOVEMBER TO REMEMBER AT GOLDEN DOME

October 29, 2012 -- Extreme Rising debuts at the Golden Dome in Monaca, PA Saturday, November 17, 2012. This event will be extreme, as homage will be paid to the 15 year anniversary of "November to Remember," an event that was broadcast live on pay per view from the Golden Dome in 1997.

On Saturday, November 17th inside the dome, the action will be extra hard hitting as it will be pivotal for the roster of Extreme Rising, as the night's matches will consist of opening round contests in the Extreme Rising Title Tournament, putting key players one step closer to crowned the company's first ever champion in Philadelphia, PA on December 29, 2012.

I don't know what the card is for this event but Douglas knows he dropped the ball last time. If he's in a match on the card, I trust he's either going to have limited time in the ring or he's been busting his ass to get up for the task. This is Shane's baby and I believe he's going to do whats best.

He's not the only bankable star they have. However, it is Pittsburgh and he's probably as big a star as any other in the company.

Considering die hard fans are almost the only ones who go to indy shows you can't blame them for trying to appeal to them. A lot of wrestlers today don't understand ring psychology. It's not just my opinion, but the opinion of a lot of the older guys. As Raven says these guys grew up wanting to be Shawn Michaels and all they saw was the high spots, they didn't notice the work.

Unfortunately, 99.9% of indy stars don't draw any interest to anyone beyond 'die hard' wrestling fans because the indy stars only want to please those types of people.

The only bankable star? They got a bunch of indy stars (who weren't in ECW) who've been in the business for years that they can put in the main event. With all respect for Douglas' accomplishments, Extreme Rising should be building a future, not relying on the past like other companies do.
