Great job - makes me want to see this adaptation again. :) I love how you made the halo around their hands at beginning. A lot of silent impact there - also the flash forwards of fire were done well- 5*****
Thank you again for entering my contest- results will be up some time in first two weeks of May...please leave your video as a video response (don't post elsewhere) until then. If you post it elsewhere, it will disappear from my contest and I can no longer see it to judge it - thanks! :)

@KDRainstorm To me Tim was THEE best Rochester and I have watched a few of the other versions and I am always comparing them to this and nothing measures up!!! This is where I discovered him and was so amazed on what a fine actor he was and how he handled his lines and his timing...flawless

Thank you - so glad you liked it! About Adobe Premiere Elements - I really like it so far. It has up to 99 tracks and lots of nice effects that seem as good as more expensive programs. I'm still learning it, though! I got it as a gift (I think it's usually about $65 - $80) so I'm not sure how good the free download ones are (are they from safe websites?). I recommend downloading it from a free trial from Adobe to check it out and see if you like it. Thanks again for your comment!
Hands down, this was the best ever version for me. Even when i return to the book all i see is Tim/Zelah performing the roles. Excellent stuff.

@Woodlander65 I completely agree! This is my favorite adaptation of Jane Eyre and Timothy Dalton is Rochester for me - even though I think he probably is a bit too handsome for the role. Didn't mind that at all...LOL :)

Thank you so much for your kind comment! I LOVE this version of JE - mainly because Timothy Dalton was so awesome in this role - so I HAD to make a video to it. So thanks again and glad you enjoyed it! :)

This is absolutely wonderful! Yours is the most beautifully artistic video of JE '83 I've seen--and there are a lot nice ones out there! I love the fade-to-painting effect. It suits the movie perfectly. The haunting ghosts of Bertha and the fire are fantastic! And thanks for including some of my favorite scenes!

I'm so glad you liked the video and the effects I used! I was trying to give the video a bit of a "modern" feel (since the movie looks rather dated), but yet keep it in line with its time period. So I thought that maybe a "painting-coming-to-life" effect might work. From your comment, I think it did! :) Thank you!
