Why muslims like to quote the corrupted bible to prove their points. read surah 29:27 we gave Abraham, isaac and Yacqub and his seeds the revelation and prophethood. Where is ishmael here? Also ishmael has nothing to do with Muhammed. Ishmael was a son of Hagar, an egyptian woman and Abraham, an iraqi. Ishamel married an egyptian also. Muhammed was a descendant of Arabs. Arabs are different from Egyptians, egyptians are africans, they speak arabic does not make them arabs.

14. And the uncircumcised man child whose flesh of his foreskin is not circumcised, that soul shall be cut off from his people; he hath broken my COVENANT.

Pay attention to this verse in particular. If the man child is not circumcised, he does not have a covenant with God. If he is, he has a covenant. According to verse 25, Ishmael was circumcised.

11. And ye shall circumcise the flesh of your foreskin; and it shall be a token of the covenant between me and you.

12 And he that is eight days old shall be circumcised among you, every man child in your generations, he that is born in the house, or bought with money of any stranger, which is not of thy seed.

13. He that is born in thy house, and he that is bought with thy money, must needs be circumcised: and my covenant shall be in your flesh for an everlasting covenant.

with God even if they were not his direct children, such as those whom he had bought with money. Since Ishmael was about to complete his covenant, God was going to bless him as was stated in verse 19. Since Isaac is not born yet and will be born in a years time, God will need to establish his covenant with him. Look at Genesis 17 10-14

10. This is my covenant, which ye shall keep, between me and you and thy seed after thee; Every man child among you shall be circumcised

Sorry tiniyo Ishmael and Muhammad (peace be upon him) are in the covenant. First did god just say right out that he was going to have a covenant with Isaac and not Ishamel without any apparent reason? First the condition on which the covenant rests with god is through circumcision. Ishmael was circumcised by Abraham and therefore completed his covenant. In fact if we look at the bible in Genesis 17 in certain verses, God told Abraham that anyone that lived in Abrahams family will have a covenant
