World Class players might make upwards of 80 mil over a career, but the "average" soccer player maybe makes 10-20 mil over a course of a 10-15 year career. Let's put it this way. Tim Howard just started making near $2 Mil a year at everton and he's 30 and above average. Even if he made $2MIL over a 20 year career that's $40 Mil.......

The highest paid soccer player in the world, Samuel Eto'o, only makes $28.8 million per season. Cristiano Ronaldo earns $17.3 million per season, and Messi makes $15.1 million.
