  • You talk about linking faders in this video. If I have 10-12 for drums some panned out for a stereo mix can I link all the drum faders to 1 fader as if it was a sub group/DCA? Also if I have a computer hooked up to the LS9 does that help to navigate through screens any faster?

  • Each YGDAI cards can do 16 channels of audio and in the LS9-32 there are 2 slots available, hence the expandability to 64 channels of inputs. Thus to use all 64 channels, 32 of it will have to be from onboard analog ins. regarding the ethernet DAW recording, are you referring to audinet's Dante cards? If that's the case, each 16 channels of dante card will eat up a slot. please note, that I am not a Yamaha rep, and these questions are really best answered by them.

  • I have a question about the LS9-32 that I am hoping you can answer. Can you have 64 digital inputs going into the LS9 or does the first 32 have to be connect directly (analogue)? I was hoping that I could use a digital snake to connect all inputs digitally. Also if I am recording to a DAW via Ethernet will the first 32 channels be recorded since they are digital inputs?

  • @starclassic71 : SLS ribbon tweetered line array. Glad you enjoyed the tutorial. I did the training for our volunteer sound team, never intended for it to be viewed by 3000+ people and counting :) had I known I probably would've made the training less specific to our use :)

  • I am just curious. What kind of speakers are you using for your mains?

  • I really enjoyed this tutorial. This is great justification for me to recommend this mixer for my church! God bless you!
