Natascha Nikeprelevic, an exceptionally fine overtone singer and performer, performed her overtone classic allEin at Taipei National University of Arts in June 2009. This 3-minute excerpt does not include overtone singing, but does reveal the music and movement flow of a fine performer.

  • Reminds me of Dory

  • I'll have what she's having

  • Was this some of Luciano Berio's Voice sequences? (as "Sequenza per voce No. 3 ?")

  • Is she pretending to be a robot who just discovered movement? It's as if she's making sounds for all the gear changes and rotator movements lol

  • I've heard her singing overtone, and she's INCREDIBLE.

And I understand what she's doing here; making the sounds we make as we tell a story. The tone of voice. The inflections. The almost musical quality of speech.

But it does sound like she got into something when her mom wasn't looking. :-)

  • @SkivMarine I LITERALLY laughed out loud! haha. I love throat singing, but I have to admit, if you look away and close your eyes it sounds like she's possessed at parts....but I agree with other comments too...she is so brave and is telling some sort of beautiful story I think.

  • @SkivMarine

ohhhh man .... you made me sooo laugh !!!

i think it's unique , without ignoring the crazyness and the wierdness it have .

  • Incredible and intense..her voice is more than an instrument..it is all instruments, all elements, all emotions, all dimensions in one. Bravo!
