Flashback is pretty nice platformer game by Delphine Software, released in 1993.
A little bit similar to their previous game, Another world, some people even thought it is the sequel to it, but it really isn't. Flashback has some nice pixel movies, and Conrad's (protagonist) moves are rotoscoped, which was very innovative for the time.

Flashback has an actual sequel, called Fade to Black, but it is very unpopular - the game is 3D and that took the most action of the game away. A sequel to Fade to Black was also planned, only for GBA, but Delphine Software bankrupted and couldn't finish the game. A beta ROM leaked over the internet, try Wikipedia search Flashback Legends.
