edit: they took down megaupload so the hack is down but it is very easy to do. a bit time consuming though for people new to this (like myself). i have a video with some detail and directions showing how to put it in place and how to edit the files..

since a few were having issues putting this in place i made a video on how to. i hope this makes it easier for those who are having issues

feel free to scan this. it is clean. i figure someone else might want this and not like myself not be a paid member of cheat happens. while using this i never seen the game even stutter. i even done this and loaded of a saved game inwhich i started before i made the changes.

i just found after starting a new game with the heath was trying to heal more than the game would allow. i changed the settings in the orignal back to100 i will include that in the upload as well. you will likely have to swap out the default_levels.xml or edit the values later in the game. the read me in the file shouild be of more help.

1. i claim no liability for this hack. you use it, you're on your own so make a back up.
2. if this for some reason does not work, sorry. replace the files with your backups.
3. i make no promises. it worked fine for me with some trial and error. it should work for you but nothing is certain.

in a nut shell.... most enemies are 1hit kills. you can take a beating from several at once and survive. you can still die, large falls and explosions typically, though to many enemies beating will work your life down to death. you can run and jump forever. your weapons will still break but your fist are very powerful. you can carry more items. this is the first hack i've ever done. if you can call messing with xml a hack. while i would have liked to get a few more things, i think this will make this game overly easy, almost boring. if you decide you want to change something, i would make a back up and try working the numeral values. that's all i done. i did try working on the accuracy and speed but the game did not seem to function even as good as it did using the original copy. either way i hope you will enjoy it.

6 gig ddr3 1333 mhz
ati/xfx 5670 i gig ddr5 stock settings

sadly due to either the board or the memory, i'm now down to 4 gbs of ram but it plays games fine though recording is not what it could be.

i'm not sure really. it's been awhile since i played the game. have you tried the hack? i know they shut down mega upload. you can edit the default_skills.xml yourself. the other video shows how to to that. kinda make the game to easy i think though. i was surprised at how easy that was. i didn't even need to mess with the float points lol

@juhlin92 you only wanna change the value numbers and nothing else. then again, they might have changed something with an update. idk. the board died on my machine so i can't really investigate much. the machine i'm running right now will do good to clear 12 fps lol. have you tried replacing the default skills directly? if that doesn't work, you might be able to edit the player skills in the same folder. to be clear, the only changes that need to be made are the numbers and nothing else.

BUT there is no folder of data0.pak .its just a file

@redrose754 you do all that i said in the first reply, it should get you close to what you are looking for. one thing, you start out with 100 on the health, you will need to add more health from time to time. it seems to go up 25 points at a time. to much will make the screen red all the time like it is when you get hurt. there are more setting that can be changed in the default_skills, it takes some trial and error though. good luck with it.

@redrose754 i'm not sure what the deal is but on mine, it was in the data0.pak. this is a nonupdated version though. no doubt it should work on a the updated version. if you manage to find the default_skills.xml in your data file, it's easy to do. just go in an change the entries change the recharge time to .001 and the amount to match the max health and edit the combat stuff (i used 9 on most all the settings like that), change the run and jump stamina use to 0 and jump to 250.
