  • come here to Fargo and say that. You talk really big from behind a computer screen halfway across the world.

  • Clearwater, you are an idiot. Of course there is a wall there, its called a dike, but you can't keep water from flooding overland when a record amount of snowfall, combined with rain and land that was soaked before winter set in all hit at the same time. And for the idiots out there who say "well, that is what you get for building in a flood plain" the entire Red River Valley was Lake Aggassi 10,000 years ago, which is why its the blackest, richest soil in the world.

  • @hockeyhunk37 When Devils lake floods the Sheyenne river, flooding the red river, then Lake Winnipeg lets see your spill way save you. Its COMING!! Start taking more now or ALL of it later.

  • Oh i like your taste in movies and TV shows btw.

  • Thats part of it too. Your absolutly right, but so am I. I work in the court system and I can tell you we "bag and tag" Blacks from Chi town and Murderopolis all the time. You dont hear or know half the stuff that happens in F/M. People in the RRV are good people as you say but it is because we know how to throw out the "human trash" that it stays that way. Remember that the next time you see a cop "roughing up" the "poor innocent black man"

  • I can assure all of you that as a member of the fargo moorhead area your rude comments mean nothing to us. Continue to post them or don't either way we don't care what you think. We have people to help and a city to save so I'm going to get back to cleaning basements and sand bagging. Thank you all for your prayers(sand baggers would be better though)

  • Adol, not true by a long shot. Now you are just trolling. We don't have robberies or killings because that is just how the folks are up here. We take care of our own and protect each other.

  • It's not as bad as that. I live up here and we had a couple of homes lost around the area but for the most part, we are fine.

  • i feel really bad for those people. my hole entire family lives up there and many people have lost jobs homes animals and everything pray tht god will be with them

  • My daughter is an NDSU student, and has been sandbagging off and on since Monday. She was evacuated yesterday with the vulnerable adults she takes care of, otherwise she would still be there fighting alongside all the awesome people who rolled up there sleeves, got dirty, and helped all who needed it. She and I are disappointed in some of those students who saw this as an extension to their spring break. Maybe those cuddled up in their dorm rooms relaxing could help with the inevitable clean up!

  • people volunteering, contrast that to the lazy bums in new orleans when katrina hit, they just layed around and waited for the government to do something for them, after they were through looting
