Lauren Spierer, the Indiana University student who went missing on June 3 after a night of partying, may have overdosed on cocaine, causing whoever was with her to panic and dispose of her body, police have acknowledged. Cocaine would have been potentially deadly for Spierer. She has Long QT syndrome, a condition in which an adrenaline surge, such as one caused by cocaine, can cause the heart to develop and irregular, potentially fatal rhythm. Source: The Journal News
