This video I discuss switching from DirecTV to OTA (free TV!). Our cable (DirecTV) bill was going to double, so we decided to finally make the switch!

I seen where you can use a xbox to get access to media center at a different location in your house and I found an app on the android market that works as a remote for media center. It's called myRemote.

@2011GeekTech Ya, with the XBox thing, it's called Media Center Extender. We haven't messed around with that yet, but we might here very soon to test it out. Also, I was going to try an Android app called RemoteDroid. How is MyRemote working?

@2011GeekTech It's been GREAT!! We have been wanting to do an updated video, but I was waiting until I finish my main computer's build (that is tonight - streaming live - check the site for details). No plans for switching back anytime soon!
