  • I think you want to be the super natural entity. I think you see yourself as such already. That you can't understand the Bible must be because it is wrong, not that you are ignorant. The Bible was given to guide His people in the covenent He has given to them. He spoke to their leaders & their time, in their language. On the one hand you expect to understand all things w/ out effort as though you were a genius, on the other you expect everything spoon fed to you like an infant.

  • @VictorLepanto *sigh* You seem to refuse to understand the key thing I was trying to say so can't see much point continuing this discussion.

  • @RodHullIOnceWasHim: You don't have a point, that is why I can't find one in your comments.

  • @VictorLepanto I read the bible every day and I understand that Jesus is a psychopat and a pyromaniac.

  • This movie is GREAT at looking at the mindless INSANITY of the Bible....should be compulsory viewing.

  • @RodHullIOnceWasHim: You obviously lack the ability to understand that your "point" as far as you can even be said to have one, is hopelessly absurd & muddle headed. Someone who needs magic tricks to understand basic truths is in a sad state.

  • @VictorLepanto "Do you want a magic book that will make itself known to all, even if they don't know the language in which it was written" - I expect no less from a super natural, timeless entity.

  • @RodHullIOnceWasHim: Shakespeare was popular literature in its day. Plays for public performances to the masses. Is it really so hard for you to grasp that cultures & languages change. As w/ all written communication, it is context dependent. Do you want a magic book that will make itself known to all, even if they don't know the language in which it was written. Just think about popular idiom in our own day. 100yrs from now, how easy will it be able to be understood?

  • @VictorLepanto Ok, scrap the word 'elite'. I'll try one last time to ask the same question.

Why would a book (the result of God's revelation to his creations of his existence) be difficult to understand by anyone who was not born at a specific time in history? You'd have thought he'd have known revelations maybe needed a re-write but as he doesn't make mistakes, must have intended it to be inaccessible I guess. It makes no sense.

  • @RodHullIOnceWasHim: Your about as demented& obscene as some of the fundy types I try to talk to. I guess the "elites" are the voices who whisper bad thoughts in your head? What your doctor tells you is the truth. Take your meds & the elites will go away.
