Report on the 20 million dollar settlement in the Vaccine Injury Compensation Program for vaccine induced autism. The government tries to explain away the case by saying vaccines don't "cause" autism, the just "result" in autism.

With the combination of so many vaccines who knows which one caused the problem. One vaccine at a time is probably best, it may not help in some cases, but at least you have better chance of which one cause the bad reaction. Especially because children have weaker immune system than adults.

@cordovamx No I don't deny that vaccines are ineffective, you commented to the wrong person.

@msmelancholy1 Anytime you administer ANYTHING into someone there is a risk of side effects - heck even the most "organic" or "natural" treatments have side effects. In the case of vaccines the benefits FAR, FAR outweigh the risks - if your worried about vaccination harm then I suggest you never let your children out of the house- as their "risk" of being hurt is FAR higher than the perceived risk of a vaccine. I also suggest you re prioritize your risk assessment...

@msmelancholy1 Vaccines in the cases of the diseases you mentioned save lives - among the young, elderly, sick and otherwise "at-risk" populations. Vaccines are solely responsible for the eradication of some horrendous diseases - i.e. would you like to see polio come back? It is false to say vaccines do more harm than good- and honestly just plain intellectual ignorance of proven scientific FACT. All of the diseases children don't have to deal with anymore is directly attributable to vaccines.

@Justpooinabush Actually, yes, vaccines are responsible to the now in large-part eradicated diseases. To deny that vaccines are effective in staving off deliberating diseases is intellectual ignorance - and just plain stupidity. The minute, and minuscule risk of a vaccine is less than a tenth of one percent in some cases - if you are fearful about vaccination harm then you should never let your children leave the house - as their risk of anything else harming them is infinitely higher.

@vaccineshurtbabies god you're so wrong. so very incredibly powerfully wrong. Have you heard of Mumps? Measles? Polio? Do you know why no-one who is vaccinated gets these any more and countries without vaccinated populations do? Do you know how many children die from these diseases? You are quite literally advocating for the preservation of diseases in our population which target and kill children. You wan't children to die. Great.

@solymar2121 And that's because of the vaccine? Please.

a number of peer-reviewed studies have found a relationship between the hep B vaccination and infant deaths both in the U.S. and Europe. With links to sudden infant death syndrome (SIDS), multiple sclerosis, and numerous chronic autoimmune disorders, some doctors are speaking out against the dangers of the hep B vaccine. -- google it
