Yeah what is wrong with a woman commanding a starship? It's not science fiction. It's a fact that women are as much capable as we men are, to lead or command. They are not inferior to us men. They are equals. If you think they are not then I called that an insult to our fellow females of our species.

Two things I loved about Star Trek in the 90s - Captain Janeway and the Dominion War (on DS9). When she appeared as Admiral Janeway in Nemesis everybody in the theatre cheered. She was the high point of that movie.

Well sorry for not noticing the sarcasm. No I'm not a Eunuch. I'm just someone that supports equality and human rights. I feel that women should be treated the same way we men are treated. Some places women are still treated badly and get discriminated.

I admit some things about her annoys me but I still like Janeway even though maybe not much as I love Picard or Kirk. I like her as much I like Sisko and Archer.

woman captains did always either blow up the ship or get it lost in the Delta quadrant in star trek... :P Nah but female cpt's are no issue.

@TheStarTreker I agree that in some situations woman are way better then us men. But I think they chose the wrong woman. Janeway annoys the crap out of me..

@TheStarTreker First off, its sarcasm. Second, dude you sound like a Eunuch.

@bnewall1 Its sarcastic. But it doesn't come across very well in text.
A female captain? Well it is science FICTION, so ok.
