MindFlex hoax?

MindFlex is a commercial product that is supposed to read your brain activity to let you levitate a ball. If you concentrate the ball goes up, if you relax the ball goes down. That's the theory. In fact it turns out a simple plastic head will have the same effect. Or does this mean that the plastic head has its own thoughts?

I actually hacked open a headset and drew the serial data out.

What I noticed is that the so called eSense data (concentration and meditation) are 9 out of 10 times not calculated. The 8 channel data is very irregular and on it's own not at all enough to see whether you are "meditative" or "concentrated".

So the base station plays a random game for sure! Adding to a nice psychological game that we think we do something influential.

@ArcieMcLean what is reality but an illusion in itself? If you were to actually look up up and not disregard my comment on water as stupidity then you wouldn't have said that. There is a documentary on 'the great mystery of water' tho I cant remember exactly whats its called. I wouldn't say that with out reason.
