There was a mishap on an episode of Video Power (season 1) . Johnny's "data trans network" announced the wrong version of Mega Man 3. What was obviously shown was the upcoming 8-bit NES sequel.

Is it me or is that the creepiest looking mega man ever. why didn't they just have somebody put on a blue helmet? sure it would've seemed a little half assed but it would be better than having a mega man with that vacant soulless gaze.

what game is playing on the TV on the upper left corner of the screen at the start of the video? the flame thrower reminds me of MERCS but obviously it is a shooter where the ship is changing weapons in mid-gameplay. anyone know?

@scir91 - You mean the footage above Johnny's head at 0:54 ? I'm not sure. I'll have to check it out on the actual video it was captured from.

Oh I totally AGREE! I dreamed of having his job and attending the electronic trade shows - lol
3 years later (1993), part of my dream came true. I hooked up with folks at local video game store who was attending Winter CES in Las Vegas. I applied for a badge using the company name and I went along with them.
As silly as Video Power was as a show. It inspired me to go further into what I wanted to see within gaming industry.
