Not sure of exactly the model number, it could be a zenith A950, A952, A953, A955, or A957. The right channel is a little muted sounding... not sure what the issue is yet. Any input would be helpful. I'm playing pandora.com through my laptop's output into the tape in input on the console. It may be hard to tell from the video, but this thing cranks. 140 watts peak, 70 watts sustained. Bass is incredible.
Neat console.

You'd be hard-pressed to replace that set with something with as satisfying a sound (I think speakers today suck!) so I would consider taking TwinMillMC's advice. You'll need to pull the amp and mail it to a competent repair shop. That's the major problem. But I know well a shop in Cambridge, Mass where I live that has a tech who may know how to bring it back up to spec. He's an older guy who's been around. Let me know if it's a tube or transistor set and I'll find out if he can help you.

Very nice console. The problem with the right channel being muted is probably with the capacitors in the output section of the amp. If I were you I would remove the receiver/amp part and have it restored - replace all caps and anything else that measures weak. Also check all solder joints. The turntable is most likely loud due to a hardened rubber idler wheel. That can be rebuilt as well.
Question; what size are the woofers in this console? Are they 12" ???
Thanx
