  • Humain or Animal ???

    Thank You

  • I accualy got a tatoo (one of many) to "comemerate" my one year aneversery (several years ago) of the diagnosis. It's of the Grimm Reaper. It helps drive home the mesage that that life is fleeting, so treat every day as if it's youre last!

  • I had a blood clot in my left leg. It wrecked the main artiry. I now suffer from chronic skin ulcers, near constant pain, and constant swelling. I try not to let it change my life all that much, but when it hurts just to walk.

  • Thank you for your kind words :)

I haven't let this change my way of life for time is prescous and I have to much to do

  • No-one knows their allocated time on this earth, irrespective of blod clots - yes you've been unlucky with DVT (but many have).

These things are reminders that life is precious; but need not shorten your life.

I trust you're in fine fettle at present and wish you a long happy life. ;o)

  • Within 3-4 months I noticed a new vein network developing closer to the surface of the skin and I believe this restriction has shortened my life span.

  • True in the upper limbs it happens rarely. This is what happened in my case through overexertion with an overhead work activity. When a diagnoses was provided 10 days later it was to late to be treated properly for this condition. Extreme swelling occurred from my right armpit towards my fingertips and also had a high fever within 18 hours of the incident.

  • It's a blood clot - which forms in a major "deep" vein, hence the term deep vein thrombosis or DVT. Can form in any limb, arm/leg, though more common in legs. Women on the pill are at risk...I know, as I had it too! It's life threatening if untreated.

  • what is this ? please explain to me what just happend ? =0/

  • 0oh, ouch.
