sampled beat using fl studio

A beat im working on jus want an opinion on how it sounds so far. Whenever im finished with it i might put it back with an acappella.

Nice beat but the only problem with looping samples are there are not enough tracks on the beat to keep the tune from getting monotonous and old quick. It sounds like this sample is a great slow building intro. The beat kicks in making your head nodd just to go right back to the slow intro beat.

i do that with most of my beats at first, then i work off that. like the video said this one wasnt done. but thanks for the comment though

nice beat. the sample is on point. however, i'm not a huge fan on the FL drums. it sounds like you are using stock drums. take a breakbeat and chop up the drums using fl slicer. replace your kicks with a kick from the breakbeat. if you use old drums, it will sound more genuine. you can find other claps to replace the stock clap. get the drums replaced and you will have yourself a classic.
