Amarillo, TX - Christian Truck Stop

I'm not into truck stops, but this is the only Christian truck stop I've ever seen anywhere. I saw this one passing through Amarillo, Texas on June 10, 2009. It's called "Jesus Christ is Lord Travel Center". They were putting up signs so they must have just opened. I never saw this truck stop before all the other times I drove through Amarillo

Yep...Welcome to Texas! The closer you get to "The Bible Belt" the more of these types of businesses you'll see! This one is particularly good tho!

It's a new gas station/truck stop. I've been through Amarillo DOZENS of times, and never saw it until my last trip through there. I've seen the guys 18-wheeler though - down in Red Oak, TX. He must have decided to open a truck stop, and I think it's a really cool idea. Real bold!
