  • I'm from Finnish school and I still think that school sucks.

  • Sorry to hear you don't like school. Feel free to elaborate with some concrete examples on what exactly you found didn't work at your school.

  • In Africa we don't need Aids, Democracy, Human Right, Freedom, We need this.

  • I agree with early intervention. It helps children to cope with thier challenges early before they become a disability. Wish our school system in America would take this approach.

  • I'm super happy you're home educating your child! The school system is horrible!

  • in some parts , but if u compare the PISA exams to GAVE exams if PISA is hard and i checked 9th grade is to much easier then GAVE exames :/ , im portuguese and i wish to bring finland scholar system to portugal :~)

  • I used to live in singapore, and now in canada. In both countries i remember being kicked out for class for being "disruptive". I'm 20 now and they have found out a month ago i have ADD. 16 years in the education system and now i find out, have ADD. I hope that the system will change for kids like me.

  • thats not what the facts say

  • Im from the US inner city public school system and I say

WE NEED THIS NOW MORE THAN EVER!!!

  • PISA tests prove otherwise. Finland is NUMBER ONE.

  • US School > Finnish School

  • I wonder will we ever see an educational system that moves away from conventional methods. Like this idea that people somehow only learn better with people their own age and other "standardized" practices that are still in use today. Also, concerning the girl who thought she was too big. Why simply tell her "you're not too big" and why not ask her if she would like to change it? Not sure who the girl was, but changing things you don't like about yourself is a better message no?
