Bears-Packers replay game, Nov. 5th, 1989

Don Majkowski's 4th down, 4th quarter TD pass to Sterling Sharpe, originally penalized for the QB being over the line of scrimmage, is reviewed and reversed, giving the Packers a 14-13 win over the Bears.

Yeah, more than half the teams make the playoffs. But I was kidding about Hockey, it's fine I just like to see you get fired up. And Fouts was full of spit. Majkowsi's hand and thus the ball was over the line of scrimmage when he let the ball go. By NFL rule in 1989, that is an illegal forward pass. The refs knew it. The NFL knew it, so they changed the rule to make it legal THE NEXT SEASON.

The same amount of teams in Hockey make the playoffs as the NBA. They also play the same number of regaler season games. I don't believe Dan Fouts was fined for telling the truth.

Announcers get fined and repremanded for that as well. Does any team in Hockey NOT Make the playoffs? I actually went to a fight once but a Hockey game broke out instead.

Hockey is a sport? And Majkowskis hand was over the line when he threw the ball and by the rule of that day, that's an illegal pass. Some owner or important person must have had money on the game. They took the pass away and then spent a ton of time trying to figure out how to make it a legal pass so the Packers could win. The next year they changed the rule, which is usually how they do it when they screw up big. I give you the tuck tule as well. that was a fumble.

They didn't get the call right. Majkowski was over the line. Just like today, Packers have to pay off the refs to win.
