@garret013 And who is going to rescue you from the investigation of murder? Also people are not trained in weighing up a situation in case of a house break-in on whether or not to shoot, that is still murder and manslaughter at least. In the UK people still are sentenced for manslaughter...We don't want the world gun-happy and crazed, that doesn't solve anything, in the UK you have a licence for a gun but are not given rights to shoot at people...

@66Shellz Gun control only keeps the law abiding citizens from being able to protect themselves. I'm not pretending there are not idiots who get a gun and don't learn how and when to use it. I think they should be required to take a class and show a certificate showing that they did pass the class before they're allowed to buy a gun. that along with back ground checks ought to be enough but I don't buy this bull shit of taking away a citizens right to own a gun.

At least Law Enforcement are trained matey, the average householder is not, it's a risk for more accidental and unnecessary deaths. It rarely happens of a householder being killed by a gun.
