About the Video:
Millions of women suffer from chronic pelvic pain. In this program, our expert, Dr. Vadim Morozov, talks with Ellen Beth Levitt about some of the causes and treatments for this condition. The latest treatments are specifically discussed, including minimally invasive surgery, either laparoscopically or with the use of a surgical robot, that enable women to recover faster.

In part one of this two-part program, Dr. Morozov discusses a variety of topics to give viewers a general understanding of chronic pelvic pain. Some of the information presented includes:

What is chronic pelvic pain?
How chronic pelvic pain affects women's lives
Endometriosis - what it is and treatments
Endometriosis and fertility
Minimally invasive (laparoscopic) surgery
Hysterectomy
Ovarian cysts

About the Expert:
Dr. Vadim Morozov is a gynecologist at the University of Maryland Medical Center who specializes in minimally invasive procedures. He is also an assistant professor of obstetrics, gynecology, and reproductive sciences at the University of Maryland School of Medicine.

  • i have only had it now while i am pregnant

  • wonderful information. I hope that they can cure pelvic pain once and for all.

  • i was having pelvic pain; it had gotten unbearable. i went to my gynecologist that i had been seeing for many years. i was not pleased with what he was saying. i looked for another doctor for a second opinion. No one recommending Dr. Morozov but God directed me to him. In thirty days after meeting him he performed my surgery. He is honest; i was so afraid. He took great care of me and i am doing well. I have recommended so many people to him and he doesn't even know it. He is the best; trust him

  • this is such a great summary of what i have learned over the past couple of years dealing with endometriosis. thank you
