@maxpatterson25 yes, we had all the pirates down in london but you did have radio caroline north for a few years. us southerners were spoilt for choise, caroline, swinging radio england, north sea international, radio sutch and many more. what memories of brighton beach and my transistor

This is the "National Anthem" for all 60,s pirate radio fans!! It does sound better when heard on the old medium wave (AM), with all the crackles & fading in & out that we used to get back then. (Especially if,like me, you were listerning hundreds of miles away in the North East of England)

@micky849 You said it, what times they were. I remminis so much over those lost days. The World today is such a nasty place in comparison. The girls fight more than the guys now. The high streets were never like today on a Saturday night. Thank God I was born when I was. People today will never know how magic it was.
