Chadders - In-N-Out Ripoff in Utah part 1

Chadder's has recently come in to American Fork, Utah and completely rips off the In-N-Out experience. This phone vid shows a little more.

It was said: "It's one thing to mimic a good idea, but to try to rip it off completely ... I'd be pretty ticked myself if a company did something like that just to ride on the coattails of my success."

Then every car company could sue the other one for making a 4 wheeled vehicle. After looking at the video, I'd swear it looks very similar to a Steak-n-Shake.

You're kind of arguing the same point with your car example though. I agree that much good has come from taking good ideas and going with them, but these guys are obviously just trying to get unmerited attention by cloning someone else's really good idea and brand. As a follow up, they actually have been recently sued by In-N-Out for Trademark infringement.

How do the owners of this place sleep at night? Knowingly and blatantly ripping off not only an independent family run business, but one of the most successful and excellent ones that this country has to offer is beyond pathetic.

I can't wait for In N' Out to come to town next month and put this ridiculous "restaurant" right where it belongs. out of business.

Let's get one thing straight.

In N Out put copyrights on their signature products. And another thing if a restaurant copies another restaurant to steal customers from the other right, which put copyrights on their signature products, then IT IS ILLEGAL.

Lastly, it's morally evil! It's like me taking all your videos, uploading them onto my youtube channel, and claiming them as my own.

First of all, the only legal issue here is that Chadder's ripped off In-N-Out's trademarked nicknames for food. Yes, this is a blatant rip-off.

However there's no laws against competition, and Chadder's is committing no greater crime than when Pepsi copied Coke.

Honestly, they both suck. This is just a case of cocky Californian's with convoluted emotional connections to an extremely overrated hamburger restaurant having their poor egos hurt.

In-N-Out's so overrated it's unbelievable.
