  • OK. Nice news. And what? Suppose you have a house, your own house. One day a bunch of Chinese party officials come backaped by several soldiers and say to you: Shut the fuck up! From now on you dance to our mellody or you will be sooorrrryyy! How would you feel? This is exactly what happened in Tibet ( not only in Tibet, but in many countries in the past ). These achievements are great but there is Tibetan people who should run their own country, not Chinese sticking nose in with a bunch of lies

  • @tibetsorrow59

The Tibetan people are healthier, better educated and more prosperous than anytime in history. Ordinary Tibetans appreciate the improvements that have come from closer ties with Beijing. Only the remnants of the theocratic and former land owning classes want a return to feudalism.

  • Whatever. Things change and are always changing. Theocratic history? It may be time to jump off your paranoia bridge and break away from the CCP indoctrinated party line. Just so you know. Prior to the invasion there were no permanent Chinese residents in Tibet. No streets named in Chinese until recently, no Chinese so-called Tibetologist until recently. There an

entire group of Chinese dedicated to propaganda on Tibet. Wake up!

  • Whatever. Tibet is a solid part of China now. And don't mentally masturbating your history. Your theocratic history is a much less complex one and is part of Chinese long and ethnically diversified history too.

  • We're still waiting for emancipation from Chinese rule that is. Chinese are in Tibet for the resources, space, land, gold, silver, uranium, strategic military location and a real big one, WATER! Tibet has never, ever, technically been part of China. Yes, we have a complex history but no more or less complex than many other countries, even China.
