KRMA (kar-ma)

@csreedabc Are there any other "We'll Take You There" promos on the site?
-
that kinda pissed me off when they did away with the "six" logo, and at about the same time Colorado Springs stopped reciving KRMA through cable
-
I knew how the promo went:
From the stroke of genius, the a stroke of luck, We'll Take You There!
How did the rest of the promo go again?

Whoa you have KRMA.
I'm not old enough to remember these graphics (even though a tape of mine shows they date to at least 1994), but I still miss the "six" logo. How long did they use these anyway? (from what I remember "Rocky Mountain PBS" was introduced in 1997, right after their 40th anniversary the year prior)

@WizardDuck Well thanks for making me feel old! :) I'm not sure how long they used these particular graphics, but I suspect it was a few years. They tended to adopt whatever the PBS campaign was at the time (as @newscaster13 noted, this was during the "We'll Take You There" days), and made adjustments accordingly. I agree, though, it was sad to see the "Six" go, though the RMPBS logo isn't bad.

I remember this music and these graphics. This was from KRMA's "We'll Take You There on SIX" with Chet Sisk doing the voice-over.
Moreover, this was before KRMA was merged with other Colorado PBS member stations to form the ROCKY MOUNTAIN PBS NETWORK (KRMA Denver, KTSC Pueblo and Colorado Springs, etc).

@newscaster13 Right. The "We'll Take You There" was a national PBS campaign that a number of the member stations adopted (some better than others). KRMA did a pretty nice job with it as I recall.
